Ladite soudure est telle que la continuité du fil du ressort soit assurée sans altérer le caractère jointif des spires, et que les propriétés mécaniques, physiques et chimiques du ressort soient sensiblement inchangées au niveau de ladite soudure. La soudure peut-être avantageusement réalisée par fusion électrique instantanée.
