CA 2152136

It includes the assembly of an integrated piece (7) that defines a single-piece, closed and enveloping sole (vulcanized or injected in a mold or directly on the shoe), which replaces the different loose rubber parts, toe pieces, sides, strips, heels and soles that, as independent pieces, are applied successively by hand, following the present process of gluing the contact surfaces of all of the pieces. Hence, the steps of the manufacturing process of technical mountain climbing footwear are greatly sim- plified and improved, since the integrated piece (7) upon being formed by a mold, does not have changes in the assembly thereof. It may be basically made out of natural or synthethic rubber or other suitable mate- rials.
