A distributor for use in a liquid manure spreader to distribute manure to a plurality of discharge hoses via a manifold fed by a manure feed pipe connected to a manure pump. The distributor has a cylindrical chamber connected to the manifold above the same. This chamber has a bottom wall with a central inlet in open communication with the manifold and a top wall provided with a set of spaced apart outlets extending at a same radial distance away from the axis of the chamber, each outlet corresponding to discharge hose. An annular baffle is coaxially mounted within said cylindrical chamber, adjacent to the top wall of it, so as to better distribute the incoming manure within the chamber. The distributor also has a set of a top discharge pipes connecting each outlet of the cylindrical chamber to a corresponding discharge hose. Each discharge pipe includes a first, vertically extending portion, a middle horizontally extending portion, a last vertically extending portion and a vertically extending, upwardly projecting air vent connected to the middle portion of the discharge pipe at substantially mid-length of it in order to prevent unequal vacuuming of the corresponding discharge hose. If desired, the distributor may further incorporate a shredder kit to allow spreading of manure containing some bedding, this kit having a disk-shaped rotor coaxially mounted within the chamber, a motor operatively connected to the rotor for rotating the same, and a set of knives smaller in size than the outlet openings of the chamber, these knives being symmetrically mounted onto the rotor, and projecting radially outwardly so as extend flat against the top wall and pass over the outlets when the rotor is rotated by the motor.

Le distributeur comprend une chambre cylindrique raccordée au collecteur. Cette chambre comprend une paroi inférieure comportant une ouverture d'entrée centrale qui communique avec le collecteur, et une paroi supérieure qui comprend un jeu d'ouvertures de sortie disposées à la même distance radiale de l'axe de la chambre, chaque sortie correspondant à un tuyau souple de décharge. Une chicane annulaire est montée de façon coaxiale dans cette chambre cylindrique, directement sous la paroi supérieure de cette dernière, de façon à mieux distribuer le lisier qui arrive dans la chambre. Le distributeur comprend également un jeu de tuyaux de décharge supérieurs qui relient chaque sortie de la chambre cylindrique à un tuyau souple de décharge correspondant. Chaque tuyau de décharge comprend une première section verticale, une section horizontale médiane, une dernière section verticale et une mise à l'air libre verticale raccordée au centre de la section médiane du tuyau de décharge afin de prévenir une dépression inégale dans le tuyau souple de décharge correspondant. Au besoin, le distributeur peut incorporer un broyeur pour permettre l'épandage de lisier contenant de la litière. Le broyeur comprend un rotor en forme de disque monté de façon coaxiale dans la chambre, un moteur raccordé au rotor pour faire tourner ce dernier, et un jeu de couteaux plus petits que l'ouverture des sorties de la chambre; ces couteaux sont montés symétriquement et radialement sur le rotor et à plat contre la paroi supérieure de façon à passer sur les sorties lorsque le rotor est entraîné par le moteur.
