ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: A manure loader attachable to and operable from a motorized farm vehicle provided with a power take off. The loader comprises a scoop with a frontal opening engage- able into the manure to be loaded. A first conveyor is mounted inside the scoop to direct manure toward one of its sides. A second conveyor in direct communication with the scoop extends rearwardly away from this scoop to pick up the manure directed by the first conveyor and bring it to a remote location where it is unloaded. A pair of rotary tiller units are mounted transversally inside the scoop forward the first conveyor to chop manure entering the scoop before it reaches the first conveyor. These tiller units are driven together with the first and second convey- ors by the power take-off of the farm vehicle. Advanta- geously, the teeth of the tiller units are interchangeably mounted and the tiller units are rotated at a speed faster than the rotational speed of the first conveyor.
