ABSTRACT A portable tool is described that helps the user to carry, and work with large documents such as architectural drawing and maps. The tool is made of a stiff material with a flat center portion, attached on opposite edges to two partial cylinders. The map is rolled from opposite edges towards the centre and then inserted into the holder. When the map is mounted in the holder it can be easily held in one hand, and the map can be rolled from one side of the holder to the other to expose any part of the map.
