The network design was developed to address the cost/functionality problems of solid, efficient data communications network over all oceans, seas and larger bodies of water. This network design topology is solely based on the utilization of existing self-sustaining buoy systems offshore coupled with new buoys, islands and other floating structures to deploy all off-the-shelf and newly developed wireless broadband network technologies in all CRTC/internationally regulated frequencies for wireless network deployments such as, but not only; point to multipoint, point to point, fixed wireless, Meshed WIFI, WIMAX, CDMA, FDMA, EVDO, PCS/Cellular, CDPD, TDMA, CMRS, GSM, VOIP, IPTV, Trunk radio systems etc. This network engineering has been developed to replace the very expensive and inefficient satellite broadband services currently used offshore.
