MARINE PROPULSION DEVICE INCLUDING STEERING MOVEMENT DAMPENING MEANS ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Disclosed herein is a marine propulsion device for a boat, the marine propulsion device including a support adapted to be fixed to the boat hull, and a propulsion unit including a rotatably mounted propeller, the propulsion unit being mounted on the support for pivotal steering movement about a steering axis. Also included is a movement dampening device having one end connected to the support at a point spaced from the steering axis and having an opposite end connected to the propul- sion unit at a point spaced from the steering axis and for dampening pivotal steering movement of the propulsion unit.
