ABSTRACT A circular marker for use in playing a game comprises a translucent disc and a metallic screen. The screen has ferromagnetic properties, and the translucent disc defines first and second substantially parallel surfaces. The screen is embedded in the translucent disc between these first and second substantially parallel surfaces. An associated magnetic pick-up device includes a rectangular ferromagnetic member having a length substantially greater than width. This ferromagnetic member is fixedly received in a rect- angular socket affixed to an elongated handle. The handle with the ferromagnetic member affixed thereto may then be used to retrieve the marker after it has been utilized as an indicator in a game.
