LAMP ASSEMBLY Abstract of the Disclosure An assembly comprising a lens, a housing assembly including a bottom wall and a resilient mounting member fixed on the bottom wall. The resilient mounting member has a central portion spaced from said bottom wall and having a centrally located opening therein. A socket base is provided which has a centrally located projection that extends through the opening in the resilient mounting member. A grounding strap is fastened to the projection of the socket base and extends beneath the resilient mounting member.
