Martensitic stainless steel whose steel composition is restricted within a specific range for each element is provided. The scale layer formed on the surface of the base material consists of an inner layer scale mainly including FeCr2O4 and an outer layer scale having a thickness of not more than 20 ~m, which outer layer is deposited on the inner layer scale at a surface coverage of not less than 1% and not more than 15%. The application of rust preventive oil onto the surface of the steel ensures an excellent weather resistance during a long term, and therefore a martensitic stainless steel forming no rust either in the outdoor depository or in the indoor depository can be provided. The steel can be used to manufacture, not only steel pipes, but also steel plates, steel rods and others in a wide application field.
L'invention concerne un acier inoxydable martensitique dans lequel la composition d'acier est restreinte dans une gamme spécifique pour chaque élément. La couche de croûte formée sur la surface du matériau support consiste en une croûte de couche interne contenant principalement du FeCr¿2?O¿4? et en une croûte de couche externe présentant une épaisseur égale ou inférieure à 20 ?m, laquelle couche externe est déposée sur la croûte de la couche interne sur une superficie supérieure comprise entre 1 et 15 %. L'application d'une huile antirouille sur la surface de l'acier permet de garantir une excellente résistance aux intempéries dans le temps, ce qui permet d'obtenir un acier inoxydable martensitique qui ne rouille pas et qui peut être utilisé à la fois à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur. L'acier décrit dans cette invention peut être utilisé pour fabriquer non seulement des tuyaux en acier, mais également des plaques en acier, des tiges en acier ainsi que tout autre article similaire, dans un large champ d'applications.
