A supermartensitic stainless steel having high mechanical strength and corrosion resistance showing the following percentage composition C <= 0.05; Cr 12-15; Ni 4-7; Mo 1.5-2; N 0.06-0.12; Mn 0.5-1; Cu < 0.3; P < 0.02; S <= 0.005; Al < 0.02; Si <= 1; the rest being iron and minor impurities, with the further requirement that the percentages of Cr, Mo and N satisfy the following formula: (Cr+3.3 Mo + 16 N) >= 19. Said steel allows to obtain manufactured articles having excellent mechanical strength and corrosion resistance characteristics.
Cette invention concerne un acier inoxydable supermartensitique possédant une résistance mécanique et une résistance à la corrosion élevées et ayant la composition suivante en pourcentage: C <= 0,05, 12 à 15 de Cr, 4 à 7 de Ni, 1,5 à 2 de Mo, 0,06 à 0,12 de N, 0,5 à 1 de Mn, Cu < 0,3, P < 0,02, S <= 0,005, Al < 0,02, Si <= 1, le reste étant du fer et des impuretés mineures, étant entendu que les pourcentages de Cr, Mo et N correspondent à la formule suivante: (Cr+3,3 Mo + 16 N) >= 19. Cet acier permet d'obtenir des produits manufacturés offrant d'excellentes propriétés de résistance mécanique et de résistance à la corrosion.
