43-175/C2.14 MASCARA CONTAINER/APPLICATOR Abstract of the Disclosure An improved container/applicator combination for use in storing and applying mascara liquid to the eyelashes. A bottle for containing the mascara liquid has a cap containing both an applicator wand and a separating member for grooming the eyelashes with mascara applied thereto to separate the lashes and remove lumps of dried mascara. The separator member comprises a tapered helical brush with bristles between .005 and .012 inches in diameter and extends longitudinally outward from the closure cap of the bottle. The closure cap of the bottle is cylindrical and the separator member is covered by a removal cylindrical second cap which provides a convenient extension handle when using the applicator wand.
