A method for producing masked phone service using a mask phone number based on a user's original phone number to create a corresponding substitutive mask phone number, through a masked phone service system controlled by a general purpose computer, to make the user's phone device equipped with two phone numbers separately usable for multiple purposes (e.g., private and business). The method comprising registering the user's original phone number to be a new user of the masked phone service system; depending on the original number creating a corresponding number or a mask phone number used for the user's during a certain time of interval; and setting the mask phone number to be in an opened or closed state, whereby when the mask number is opened, the original phone number is masked such that the mask number is used to communicate with an outside recipient and when the mask number is closed, an outside dialer cannot contact the user through the user's mask number.
