ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A masonry guide for vertically aligning bricks or other rectangular building blocks at a predetermined spacing from a wall includes an elongated strip of metal defining a body, which is nailed or otherwise attached to the wall, and an arm extending outwardly from the body with a plurality of holes on the longitudinal axis of the arm at a predetermined distance from the body for receiving a plumb line, whereby the blocks can be vertically aligned at a predetermined spacing from the wall.
