ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A handle for a masonry tool known as a skate raker. This tool includes wheels adapted to ride on opposite sides of a mortar joint, has an adjustable smoothing tool extending from the body of the tool and an extension of the body normally used as a handle. To protect the brick layers hand during use the handle is releasably and adjustably mounted on the extension of the body of the raker, which extends through slots provided in the handle and has securing means such as set screws.
