ABSTRACT In a propulsion system for space vehicles, jets or reaction motors are commonly used to provide a thrust or an unbalanced force. The mass used for reaction is the fuel, and the fuel is launched into orbit along with the space vehicle, at great expense. My invention circumvents this expense by using the same mass over and over again. The mass in my invention is in the form of basic charged particles of matter. These are accelerated to high velocities such as half the speed of light or greater. When the particles are exhibiting extra mass due to mass-energy equivalence, the particles are made to change direction by 180 degrees, thereby exerting an unbalanced force on the deflecting duct in the device. The particles are then decelerated to normal speeds and the cycle is repeated using the same mass. The energy used is derived from solar panels energized by the sun.
