INVENTION: A MAST BASE STRUCTURE FOR A WINDSURFING BOARD ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention refers to a mast base structure for a windsurfing board including a connecting member located below a mast base lower section supporting a universal joint. The connecting member forms the connec- tion between the mast and the windsurfing board. This connecting member is movable in a pinned down condition parallel to the deck surface of the windsurfing board by a rail and can be locked at any chosen position along the rail by means of a coupling means. This coupling means is provided according to a preferred embodiment with an operating means located in the height of the forked boom. Thereby a cable line provided with a gripping mem- ber for the control thereof is connected to said coupling means and the connection therebetween is located within the mast.
