ABSTRACT A master cylinder includes a housing (30) with a stepped bore (32) receiving a sleeve assembly (50). A pair of pistons (80, 82) are disposed within the stepped bore (32) and one (82) of the pair of pistons defines portions of com- pensation passages between a reservoir (37) and a pair of pressure chambers (88, 90). The one piston (82) is movable to simultaneously control communication through the com- pensation passages. (Figure 1)
