ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION A material for plant culture prepared by adding a suit- able granular water-absorbent and excess granular material which are heavy and harmless for the growth of plants during the process of manufacturing foam-cotton. The plants of the material for plant culture was obtained by tearing the foam-material. Once it is applied to plant culture such as floriculture, horticulture, the material contains the following characteristics: good water- absorption, high water-retention and high specific gravity. As a result, this foam-material is especially effective for a plant's fixation and a basin's stability.
