The invention relates to a material layer of soft paper, polymer fibre or polymer film intended to be used as a separate layer, or in at least one layer to be placed loosely on, or be bonded to one or more material webs for achieving a controlled diffusion capacity of a liquid deposited on at least the material layer, or for achieving a bulkier and thicker material web. The layer (1) has a plurality of slit formations (2) extending over it, which are laterally arranged in optional and mutually spaced relationship, such as to form free, separate strip formations (3), the layer (1) being intended to constitute a separate material layer or be included in a combination of at least one further, differing material layer or web, which, when the slitted layer (1) is drawn apart to a greater or less extent, positionally fixes the layer in different, given, opened-out configurations, depending on its field of use, this operation resulting in different opening widths being obtained for the slit formations (2) in the material layer.
L'invention porte sur une couche d'un matériau pouvant consister en un film de papier mou, de fibres de polymère ou de polymère pouvant servir de couche de séparation ou de couche isolée destinée à être posée librement ou par collage sur une ou plusieurs bandes d'un matériau, de manière à offrir une capacité de diffusion contrôlée d'un liquide déposé au moins sur la couche de matériau, ou à constituer une bande de matériau plus forte et plus épaisse. La couche (1) présente une série de formations (2) de fentes s'étendant à sa surface et espacées optionnellement en largeur de manière à former des bandes libres (3) séparées. Ladite couche (1) peut constituer une couche séparée de matériau ou être intégrée à une combinaison d'au moins une autre couche ou bande d'un matériau différent qui, selon que la couche (1) munie de fentes est étirée plus ou moins fortement, lui donne différentes configurations d'ouverture dépendant de ses domaines d'utilisation, cette opération produisant différentes largeurs d'ouverture des formations de fentes (2) de la bande de matériau.
