ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: A sealing structure for application to an exposed surface of a building or civil engineering construction, which comprises two layers of thermoplastic plastics material one over the other, with a fabric reinforcement structure therebetween. The fabric reinforcement has a plurality of zones which impart to the structure a greater reinforcing effect than the remainder of the fabric; these zones extend in strips lying across the fabric in at least one direction. The two layers of thermoplastic plastics material have different contents of stabilisers and/or fillers, one layer having a higher content of stabilisers being intended to form the surface layer of the sealing structure.
