The invention relates to a device (1) for transferring to a surface (9) correcting material supplied on a tape-like carrier (7), provided with a housing (2) comprising a rotatable supply reel (3) for the carrier (7) with the correcting material, a rotatable take-up reel for the carrier after transfer of the material, a transfer member (6) for placing on the surface (9) and along which the carrier (7) with the material is guided, and displaceable means (8) for covering the transfer member (6). Inadvertent transfer of material when the device is not in use is hereby prevented. The covering means are operable by an operating member (21) which protrudes out of a wall of the housing (2). The covering means can comprise a displaceable slide (8), which can take an at least partially flexible form.

L'invention concerne un dispositif (1) permettant de transférer sur une surface (9) un matériau correcteur présenté sur un support (7) de type bande. Ce dispositif comprend un boîtier (2) comprenant une bobine (3) débitrice rotative pour le support (7) portant le matériau correcteur, une bobine réceptrice pour le support après transfert du matériau, un élément (6) de transfert à poser sur la surface (9), le long duquel le support (7) avec le matériau sont guidés, et des moyens (8) déplaçables, permettant de couvrir l'élément (6) de transfert et d'empêcher ainsi le transfert involontaire de matériau lorsque le dispositif n'est pas utilisé.
