Disclosed is a method for detecting biopolymers in a matrix. More specifically, the invention involves (a) contacting the matrix with a sensitizing reagent comprising one or more optionally substituted heteroaromatic compounds; (b) contacting the matrix with one ore more reduceable metal salts to stain said biopolymer; and (c) detecting the stained biopolymer. The invention also relates to compositions for carrying out the invention and compositions made according to the invention. The invention also relates to kits for carrying out the methods of the invention.
L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de détecter des biopolymères dans une matrice. De manière plus spécifique, le procédé de l'invention consiste : (a) à mettre la matrice en contact avec un réactif sensibilisant comportant un ou plusieurs composés hétéroaromatiques éventuellement substitués ; (b) à mettre la matrice en contact avec un ou plusieurs sels métalliques pouvant être réduits afin de colorer ledit polymère ; et (c) à détecter le biopolymère coloré. L'invention concerne également des compositions permettant de mettre en oeuvre l'invention, et des compositions préparées conformément à l'invention. L'invention traite également de trousses permettant de mettre en oeuvre les procédés de l'invention.
