Thus the present invention describes diagnostic agents comprising a diagnostic metal and a compound, wherein the compound comprises: 1-10 targeting moieties; a chelator; and 0-1 linking groups between the targeting moiety and chelator; wherein the targeting moiety is a matrix metalloproteinase inhibitor; and wherein the chelator is capable of conjugating to the diagnostic metal. The present invention also provides novel compositions of the compounds of the invention, kits, and their uses in diagnosis of diseases associated with MMPs.

L'invention concerne des agents de diagnostic comportant un métal de diagnostic et un composé. Ledit composé contient : entre 1 et 10 fractions de ciblage, un agent chélateur, et 0 ou 1 groupe de liaison entre la fraction de ciblage et l'agent chélateur. La fraction de ciblage est un inhibiteur de métalloprotéase matricielle, l'agent chélateur étant capable de s'associer au métal de diagnostic. L'invention concerne également de nouvelles compositions des composés, assemblages et de leurs utilisations pour diagnostiquer des maladies liées aux métalloprotéases matricielles décrits ci-dessus.
