Matting agent for thermally curable systems, especially for powder coating compositions, that comprise at least one carboxyl-containing polymer as binder and at least one epoxy-group-containing compound as cross-linking agent, wherein the matting agent comprises at least the following constituents: (a) a metal salt or a metal complex of an organic compound, the metal being selected from the group magnesium, calcium, strontium, barium, zinc, aluminium, tin and antimony, and (b) a polymerisation product of monomers, the monomers including epoxy-group-containing monomers and the epoxy value of the polymerisation product being from 0.1 to 8 equivalents of epoxy groups, and overall the ratio of epoxy equivalents of component (b) to metal equivalents of component (a) being from 0.2 to 120.
Cette invention a trait à un agent de matité pour systèmes thermodurcissables, notamment pour compositions pulvérulentes d'enduction, lequel agent de matité renferme au moins un polymère contenant du carboxyle, en tant que liant, et au moins un composé contenant un groupe époxyde, en tant qu'agent réticulant, cet agent de matité comprenant également au moins les composants suivants, (a), un sel métallique ou un complexe métallique d'un composé organique, le métal étant issu du groupe constitué par le magnésium, le calcium, le strontium, le baryum, le zinc, l'aluminium, l'étain et l'antimoine et, (b), un produit de la polymérisation de monomères, au nombre de ces monomères figurant des monomères contenant un groupe époxyde, la valeur époxydique du produit de polymérisation allant de 0,1 à 8 équivalents des groupes époxydes et le rapport d'ensemble des équivalents époxydes du composant (b) / équivalents métalliques du composant (a) étant compris entre 0,2 et 120.
