A mattress for magnetic treatment which produces magnetic treatment effects by permanent magnets and chiropractic effect by protuberances while sleeping. The mattress therefore comprises an elastic body of crosslinked foamed polyethylene, foamed urethane or the like, the elastic body having protuberances on its surface for producing chiropractic effects, damper felt fixedly secured to the surface of the elastic body, the damper felt being dotted with permanent magnets, a fiber layer fixedly secured to the surface of the damper felt and used for holding the permanent magnets and the protuberances of the elastic body, and a thin soft fiber layer covering the surface of the fiber layer. The elastic body comprises short and tall barrel-like bodies, these being disposed at fixed intervals.

Matelas thérapeutique à effets magnétiques produits par des aimants permanents et à effet chiropratique produit durant le sommeil par des protubérances. Le matelas est constitué d'un corps élastique en mousse de polyéthylène réticulé, en mousse d'uréthane ou autre matière semblable, une surface dotée de protubérances destinées à produire l'effet chiropratique, un feutre absorbant fixé à la surface du corps élastique, ce même feutre étant piqué d'aimants permanents, une couche fibreuse fixée à la surface du feutre absorbant et servant à maintenir les aimants et les protubérances en place, et une mince couche d'un matériau fibreux et doux recouvrant la couche fibreuse. Le corps élastique comporte des corps en forme de barils courts et longs disposés à intervalles réguliers.
