A handle apparatus (2) constructed for use with a mattress (4) of the type having a frame assembly including coil springs (6) and rod-like members extending through the coil springs enclosed in a fabric cover, and handle receiving grommets (16) positioned in the cover. The handle apparatus (2) includes a strap-like hand grippable member (14) extending along an outer surface of the cover, the grippable member (14) having a pair of end portions (20, 22) positioned adjacent a pair of grommets (16) in the cover, respectively. Each end portion has secured thereto an elongate connecting member (24, 26) adapted to extend through an adjacent grommet (16) each of the connecting members (24, 26) having a connecting end portion (28) which extends adjacent the coil springs (6). The connecting end portion (28) includes a longitudinally extending slot (30) therein and an opening (32) which leads into said slot.

Cette section de connexion (28) comprend une fente longitudinale (30) et une ouverture (32) conduisant à cette fente
