At least one pipe (RO1), in which fire-extinguishing means (FM) under pressure is contained, is laid in at least one cable duct (CS11, CS12, CS13). The wall of said pipe (RO1) is made from a material with a melting point which is selected to be lower than the ignition point of the cable casing of an adjacent cable.
