The present invention relates to a method for diagnosing and/or prognosing heart failure in a subject the method comprising the step of determining the level of at least one genetic marker in a body fluid sample obtained from said subject, wherein said at least one genetic marker is an mi RNA. The invention further relates to a method for treating or preventing heart failure in a subject the method comprising the step of decreasing within said subject the expression, amount, and/or activity of at least one mi RNA, or decreasing within said subject the interaction of at least one mi RNA with its m RNA target or increasing within said subject the expression, amount, and/or activity of the m RNA target of at least one mi RNA.
La présente invention porte sur un procédé de diagnostic et/ou de pronostic d'une insuffisance cardiaque chez un sujet, le procédé comprenant l'étape consistant à déterminer le taux d'au moins un marqueur génétique dans un échantillon de fluide corporel obtenu à partir dudit sujet, ledit au moins un marqueur génétique étant un ARNmi. L'invention porte en outre sur un procédé de traitement ou de prévention d'une insuffisance cardiaque chez un sujet, le procédé comprenant l'étape consistant à diminuer à l'intérieur dudit sujet l'expression, la quantité et/ou l'activité d'au moins un ARNmi, ou à diminuer à l'intérieur dudit sujet l'interaction d'au moins un ARNmi avec sa cible d'ARNm ou à augmenter à l'intérieur dudit sujet l'expression, la quantité et/ou l'activité de la cible d'ARNm d'au moins un ARNmi.
