Means for estimating the charged state of a battery, capable of accurately estimating an SOC even though the battery repeats charging/discharging in short cycles. The charging/discharging current Ib measured by current sensing means (10) is integrated, and pseudo-SOC estimating means estimates a pseudo- SOC. Electromotive force estimating means (16) estimates the open voltage Voc from the pseudo-SOC. Voltage change estimating means (18) estimates the voltage change Vr due to the internal resistance from the charging/discharging current Ib. Dynamic voltage change estimating means (20) estimates the voltage change Vdyn due to the change of the charging/discharging current. An adder (22) adds the Voc, Vr, and Vdyn to calculate an estimated voltage Vest of the battery. SOC correction calculating means (26) calculates the correction of the SOC for equalizing the estimated voltage Vest to the measured voltage Vmes measured by voltage sensing means (12), and an adder (28) adds the correction to the pseudo-SOC to estimate the SOC of the battery.

La présente invention concerne un moyen permettant d'estimer l'état de charge d'une batterie, de donner une valeur d'estimation précise de l'état de charge (ou SOC) même lorsque la batterie procède à de courts cycles de charge/décharge de façon répétée. Un moyen de détection de courant (10) mesure et intègre le courant de charge/décharge Ib, et un moyen d'estimation de pseudo-SOC estime une pseudo-SOC. Un moyen d'estimation de force électromotrice (16) estime une tension ouverte Voc à partir de la pseudo-SOC. Un moyen d'estimation de changement de tension (18) estime le changement de tension Vr dû à la résistance interne du courant de charge/décharge Ib. Un moyen d'estimation de changement dynamique de tension (20) estime le changement de tension Vdyn dû au changement du courant de charge/décharge. Un sommateur (22) additionne le Voc, le Vr et le Vdyn pour calculer une tension estimée Vest de la batterie. Un moyen de calcul de correction de SOC (26) calcule une correction de la SOC afin d'égaliser la tension estimée Vest avec la tension mesurée Vmes mesurée par le moyen de détection de tension (12), et un sommateur (28) additionne la correction et la pseudo-SOC afin d'évaluer la SOC de la batterie.
