The invention relates to means for guided, unidirectional or bi-directional transmission of electrical signals between a primary module (2) and a secondary module (3), incorporated in a vehicle steering wheel, by way of a two-wire line (18a, 18b; 18c, 18d). To be able to separate the primary module (2) and the secondary module (3), the primary two-wire line (18a, 18b) and the secondary two-wire line (18c, 18d) are terminated by a primary (12) or a secondary winding element (14) respectively which can be coupled to each other in the manner of a transformer by way of an air-gap (18; 18'). A primary shell-type core (11) holds the primary winding element (12), has a central opening (20) for the passage of a steering column supporting the steering wheel and is substantially rotationally symmetrical to the axis (A) of symmetry of this central opening (20). The primary winding element (12) and the secondary winding element (14) are in the form of a toroid, the secondary winding element (14) is concentric to the primary winding element (12), and one receiving chamber (15) formed by the primary shell-type cores (11) and the secondary shell-type cores (13) holds the two winding elements (12,14).

L'invention concerne un moyen permettant la transmission guidée, unidirectionnelle ou bidirectionnelle, de signaux électriques entre un module primaire (2) et un module secondaire (3), incorporé au volant de direction d'un véhicule, au moyen d'une canalisation à deux fils (18a, 18b; 18c, 18d). Pour pouvoir séparer le module primaire (2) et le module secondaire (3), la canalisation primaire à deux fils (18a, 18b) et la canalisation secondaire à deux fils (18c, 18d) sont terminées par un enroulement primaire (12) ou un enroulement secondaire (14) respectivement qui peuvent être couplés l'un à l'autre à la manière d'un transformateur par l'intermédiaire d'un entrefer (18; 18'). Un noyau carapace primaire (11) retient l'enroulement primaire (12), comporte une ouverture centrale (20) pour permettre le passage d'une colonne de direction supportant le volant de direction et est rotativement symétrique par rapport à l'axe (A) de symétrie de cette ouverture centrale (20). L'enroulement primaire (12) et l'enroulement secondaire (14) ont la forme d'un tore, l'enroulement secondaire (14) est concentrique par rapport à l'enroulement secondaire (12), et une chambre de réception (15) formée par les noyaux carapaces (11) et les noyaux carapaces secondaires (13) retient les deux enroulements (12, 14).
