ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A mechanism to automatically remove the tops of corrugated paperboard boxes, without damaging the contents, is provided. The device cuts through the four sides of a corrugated paperboard box and then removes the top, while leaving the contents undamaged. A cutting novel mechanism to sever the top of the box and apparatus for removing the top of the box is also provided.
