The invention relates to a means for weaning people off smoking or alcohol, said means containing alpha-Ketoglutaric acid and 5-hydroxymethylfurfural, preferably in a mass ratio of between 2:1 and 12:1. Preferably, said means is in the form of a drink containing the following constituents per litre: between 4 and 8g of alpha-Ketoglutaric acid; between 0.2 and 0.6g of 5- hydroxymethylfurfural; between 20 and 40g of saccharose; between 2.5 and 5g of sodium carbonate; between 0.3 and 0.8g of sorbic acid; and optionally up to 0.5g of citric acid. The pH value is equal to between 4 and 5.

L'invention concerne un produit de désaccoutumance du tabac ou de l'alcool. Ce produit contient un acide alpha-cétoglutarique et du 5-hydroxyméthylfurfural, de préférence, dans un rapport massique de 2:1 à 12:1. Ce produit se présente, de préférence, sous la forme d'une boisson qui contient, par litre, les ingrédients suivants: 4-8 g d'acide alpha-cétoglutarique; 0,2-0,6g de 5-hydroxyméthylfurfural; 20-40g de saccharose; 2,5-5g de bicarbonate de soude; 0,3-0,8g d'acide sorbique; éventuellement jusqu'à 0,5g d'acide citrique.
