Means for transforming rotary movement of a spindle (1) that has helical threads (2) to axial movement of a nut (3) embracing the spindle (1), and conversely for transforming axial movement of the nut to rotary movement of the spindle, comprises elements which are disposed between the spindle (1) and the nut (3) and which lie along at least two mutually parallel and mutually spaced peripheral lines around the spindle (1). Respective elements are comprised of a crown roller (11) which forms, on the one hand, a roller body- part (12) and, on the other hand, a ball race (13). The roller body-part (12) is adapted to engage the threads (2) of the spindle, and the ball race (13) is positioned so as to face away from the axis of the spindle (1) and lie in a plane which extends perpendicular to and has its rotational centre in a line passing through the spindle axis and the centre of the spherical part (12). Bearing balls (15) are disposed between the ball race (13) and the nut (3), and two mutually adjacent crown rollers (11) engage with mutually proximal or mutually distal thread flanks of the thread (2) or the threads.
Cette invention se rapporte à un dispositif conçu pour transformer le mouvement rotatif d'un axe fileté (1) doté d'un filetage hélicoïdal (2) en mouvement axial d'un écrou (3) ceinturant ledit axe (1), et pour transformer inversement le mouvement axial de l'écrou en mouvement rotatif de l'axe. Ledit dispositif comporte des éléments qui sont disposés entre l'axe (1) et l'écrou (3), le long d'au moins deux lignes, parallèles entre elles et à distance l'une de l'autre, disposées autour dudit axe (1). Lesdits éléments sont constitués chacun d'une boule à couronne (11) qui forme, d'un côté, un corps de boule (12) et de l'autre côté, un chemin de roulement à billes (13). Ledit corps de boule(12) est conçu pour entrer en contact avec le filetage (2) de l'axe, et le chemin de roulement à billes (13) est positionné de façon à être orienté en direction opposée à l'axe (1) et à reposer dans un plan qui est perpendiculaire audit axe et qui a son centre de rotation situé sur une ligne passant par ledit axe et le centre de la partie sphérique (12). Des billes de roulement (15) sont disposées entre le chemin de roulement à billes (13) et l'écrou (3), et deux boules à couronne (11) à proximité l'une de l'autre sont en contact avec des flancs de filet du filetage (2), espacés ou rapprochés l'un de l'autre.
