A pulsed NMR analysis system (fig. 1) and process comprising an on-line system to extract a sample (S1-S2 of fig. 1) and establish digitized free induction decay curves (C), from which curve component functions are determining using regression techniques to correlate the curve components to the target nuclei, crystalline or amorphous, and to other material characteristics such as flow rates in plastic (MI and FRR for polyethylene and MF for polypropylene). The invention makes use of Principal Component Analysis (PCA) (46 of fig. 2) for deriving an orthogonal set of explanatory parameters and therefrom a set of vectors wherein collinearity is eliminated by Eigenvalue analysis (fig. 3).

Système et procédé d'analyse par résonance magnétique nucléaire pulsée comportant un système direct servant à extraire un échantillon (S1-S2 de la figure 1) et à établir des courbes numérisées de signaux de précession libre (C), à partir desquelles on détermine des fonctions de composantes de courbes au moyen de techniques de régression, afin de mettre en corrélation les composantes des courbes avec les noyaux cibles, cristallins ou amorphes, et avec d'autres caractéristiques de matière, tels que les taux de fluage, dans du plastique (MI et FRR pour polyéthylène et MF pour polypropylène). L'invention utilise une analyse des composantes principales (PCA) (46 de la figure 2), afin de calculer un ensemble orthogonal de paramètres explicatifs et, par suite, un ensemble de vecteurs dans lesquels la colinéarité est éliminée par une analyse de valeur propre (figure 3).
