A measuring tool includes a basis plate (10), a protractor (30) mounted on the basis plate, and a carpenter's ink marker (20) combined with the protractor and provided with a retractable inking line (21) attached to the protractor. Thus, the carpenter's ink marker and the protractor are combined to measure and locate an object. In addition, the protractor is located at different positions of the object, and the inking line is movable with the carpenter's ink marker to align with the angle scales of the protractor and to form inclined or vertical lines on the surface of the object, so that the object is cut along the lines formed by the inking line to have different shapes according to the user's requirement.
