ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention relates to a mechanical connection for concrete reinforcing rods. It will find an application, in particular, in the field of concrete element construction. In the connection (1), the concrete reinforcing rods (2, 3) each comprise at least one externally threaded end (5, 6), designed to be inserted in a connecting sleeve (4), at which are provided a first and a second internally threaded portion (7, 8) corresponding respectively to the externally threaded portions (9, 10) of the ends (5, 6). According to the invention, the sleeve (4) is constituted by at least two matching half-shells (11, 12) bearing at least the said first and second internally threaded portions (7, 8), as well as two clamping members (13, 14) suitable for joining the two half-shells (11, 12) in order to imprison the ends (5, 6) of the reinforcing rods (2, 3) to be connected.
