An apparatus and method to isolate downhole components within a downhole tool from shock and vibration typically experienced during handling and use of the downhole tool. The apparatus and method include a series of interlocking hooks and loops that are bondable to the downhole component and dampingly secure the downhole component within the downhole tool. The material comprising the interlocking hooks and loops is a high temperature material whose performance is not affected by high temperatures.

L'invention concerne un appareil et un procédé qui permettent d'isoler des composants fond-de-trou à l'intérieur d'un outil fond-de-trou contre les chocs et les vibrations généralement subis lors de la manipulation et de l'utilisation de l'outil fond-de-trou. L'appareil et le procédé comprennent une série de crochets et de boucles à interverrouillage qui peuvent être liés au composant fond-de-trou et qui permettent de fixer de manière à l'amortir le composant fond-de-trou à l'intérieur de l'outil fond-de-trou. Le matériau comprenant les crochets et les boucles à interverrouillage est un matériau résistant à de hautes températures dont la performance n'est pas altérée par les températures élevées.
