A mechanical fastening system for a diaper (1) or like disposable garment of a male mechanical fastening tab (20) (e g., a hook-type fastener) attached to a comer or edge region (4) of the garment with a mating fibrous web (5) on an opposing corner or edge region (7). The male mechanical fastening tab (20) creates two areas of attachment, an outward portion extending beyond the first comer or edge region (4) and an inward area extending inward of the first corner or edge region (4) where both areas of attachement engage the fibrous web (5) on the opposing corner or edge (7). The male mechanical fastening tab (20) with the fibrous web (5) creates a secure non-rotational attachment using a single fastening tab (20).

Un système de fixation mécanique pour une couche (1) ou un article jetable similaire comporte une patte (20) de fixation mécanique mâle (par exemple du type à bouclettes de fixation) fixée à une région de bordure (7) ou un coin de l'article, une bande fibreuse (5) correspondante étant prévue sur une région de bordure (7) ou un coin opposé.
