ABSTRACT A novel secure package for lottery tickets or the like is disclosed. The package makes improbable undetected tampering by surreptitious means such as, for example, the use of optical fiber reading techniques. The package comprises a mechanically sealed or knurled envelope and, within the envolope a ticket which is specially folded to present no open sides to the sealed edges of the package.
