ABSTRACT OF DISCLOSURE Disclosed herein is a mechanical fuel supply apparatus for a fuel injected internal combustion engine, which apparatus comprises a compressor for compressing a fuel/air mixture, a pressure regulator for controlling the pressure of the fuel/air mixture, and a controller-distributor for varying the supply of pressurized fuel/air mixture to the engine in accordance with engine speed and in accordance with operator input.
