ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A wall-mounted unit is disclosed which has a fixed framework that can be secured to a wall and a display surface that can be moved vertically in relation to the framework. Vertical side members are connected to the display surface to extend from the rear of the display surface at the side edges thereof. On the inner sides of the side members there are guide rails in which guide pieces or guide rollers engage, these being mounted on the framework. The side members cover the framework from the side and extend almost to the wall.
