The invention concerns one or several storage devices (34) for storing media, in particular CD's, a recording and reading station (50), a device for gripping and transferring (42) a series of rotary trays (22) stacked on one another and associated each with a driving device (60, 62) acting on the periphery of the trays to drive the latter in rotation between a stationary position and a disc accessing position. Each tray comprises a notch (28) and when all the trays (22) are located in stationary position the notches (28) define an open channel, which enables the vertical displacement of the transfer device (42).

Le système comporte un ou plusieurs dispositifs de stockage (34) pour stocker des supports de données, notamment des disques CD, une station d'enregistrement et de lecture (50), un dispositif de préhension et de transfert (42), une série de plateaux rotatifs (22) empilés les uns sur les autres et associés chacun à un dispositif d'entraînement (60, 62) agissant sur la périphérie de plateaux pour faire tourner ceux-ci entre une position de garage et une position d'accès des disques. Chaque plateau comporte une encoche (28) et lorsque tous les plateaux (22) se trouvent en position de garage les encoches (28) définissent un canal ouvert, lequel permet le déplacement vertical du dispositif de transfert (42).
