- 2 - A B S T R A C T A medical administration device comprises a body with a chamber which is arranged to receive a blister pack with a container for medicament. The chamber is normally closed by a cover which may be opened to permit a container to be inserted and located in the chamber. A mouthpiece communicates with the chamber and a patient may inhale through it. The chamber has an air inlet. A spike is engageable with a container in the chamber when the cover is closed to open a container located in the chamber so as to permit medicament to be withdrawn from the container when the patient inhales.
