ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention is a resilient clip for connec- ting an electrical cable associated with medical equipment to a conventional male electrode. The prior art includes snap-on terminals and terminals comprising a pair of pivotal plates movable to provide passage of an enlarged portion of the male electrode Upon subsequent release, the plates tend to retain the clip on the male projection. However, with prior systems, insulation of the clip conductor elements has not been provided, allowing possible electrical disturbances through inadvertent contact with the male electrode. Further, the prior art clips may be inadvertently tilted, causing a cam action tending to force the clip off of the electrode. The clip of the present invention solves these problems by providing a clip constructed of a dielectric resilient plastic material in a generally V or wishbone configuration in which the arms are integrally molded to each other at one end and diverge to a spaced relationship at the other ends. Resilient wire loops are provided on each of the arms at points spaced from the one end and generally facing each other in a condition to overlap when the arms are biased by an external force towards each other. The clip is provided with means preventing accidental contact with the male electrode when the clip is in position thereon, and with means preventing undesired tilting of the clip thereby minimi- zing unintentional disassembly of the clip from the electrode.
