A device (1) for aligning a guide wire with a femur, comprising: an indi-cation means (2) comprising at least two arms (3), each having a section (4) that is part-cir-cular; an alignment means (6) for locating a portion of the bone for insertion of the guide wire, in use; and a body (18) connected to the indication means (2) and the alignment means (6), wherein the sections of the at least two arms (3) of the indication means (2) can be moved from an open to a closed position, and wherein in the open position the sections of the arms (3) can pass over the femoral head, and wherein in the closed position the sec-tions of the arms (3) form a ring that has di-mensions corresponding to a femoral implant component internal diameter. L'invention porte sur un dispositif (1), pour aligner un fil-guide avec un fémur, qui comporte : un moyen d'indication (2) comportant au moins deux bras (3), chacun ayant une section (4) qui est en partie circulaire ; un moyen d'alignement (6) pour localiser une partie de l'os pour l'introduction du fil-guide, lors de l'utilisation, et un corps (18) relié au moyen d'indication (2) et au moyen d'alignement (6), les sections des bras (3) du moyen d'indication (2) pouvant être déplacées d'une position ouverte à une position fermée et, dans la position ouverte, les sections des bras (3) pouvant passer sur la tête fémorale, et, dans la position fermée, les sections des bras (3) formant une bague dont les dimensions correspondent à un diamètre interne de composant d'implant fémoral. L'invention porte également sur un système et sur un procédé d'alignement d'un fil-guide avec un fémur.
