ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A garment for being worn by a medical patient and for hindering access to a medical appliance by the medical patient. The garment includes a pair of pants for covering the medical appliance. The pants includes a seat for covering the lower trunk of the medical patient, a first leg attached to and depending downward from a first side of the seat for covering at least a portion of a first leg of the medical patient, and a second leg attached to and depending downward from a second side of the seat for covering at least a portion of a second leg of the medical patient. The pants have a split extending completely between the upper end of the seat means and the bottom end of the second leg means. The garment includes fastening structure for releasably closing the split of the pants and for securely fastening the pants to the medical patient.
