ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A disposable syringe cylinder suitable for easy insertion into a medical paste injector. The disposable syringe cylinder is prefilled by the supplier with a sterile medical paste. A flexible piston is inserted by the supplier into the proximal end of the disposable syringe cylinder. The flexible piston serves as a seal between the sterile medical paste of the outer environment. It also functions as the piston whereby proximal-to-distal force applied by the medical paste injector propels medical paste from the disposable syringe cylinder. The direction of travel of the flexible piston is only proximal-to- discarded and the disposable syringe cylinder is discarded when empty. The flexible piston has a flat proximal surface without any means for gripping the medical paste injector. 09/05/90
