The present invention provides an en- coding mechanism for a medical sensor which uses a modulated signal to provide the coded data to a remote analyser. The modulated signal could be, for instance, a pulse width modulated signal or a frequency modulated signal. This signal is amplitude independent and thus provides a significant amount of noise immunity.
Cette invention concerne un mécanisme de codage destiné à un capteur à usage médical qui utilise un signal modulé pour fournir des données codées à un analyseur éloigné. Ce signal modulé peut être, par exemple, un signal à modulation d'impulsions en largeur ou un signal modulé en fréquence.
