A drape including a sensing device is disposed over a thermal treatment system having a basin recessed therein to form a drape container or receptacle within the basin for collecting a sterile medium. The thermal treatment system may either heat or congeal the sterile medium. The sensing device is typically disposed through the drape to provide a signal indicating the presence of liquid and/or leaks within the drape container to the system to facilitate control of system operation. In addition, the sensing device may be affixed to a plural basin drape utilized for a multiple basin thermal treatment system. The drape forms a drape receptacle within each basin, while a sensing device is typically disposed within each drape receptacle to detect the presence of liquid and/or a leak within that drape receptacle to facilitate control of system operation in substantially the same manner described above.
Un champ opératoire comportant un dispositif de détection est disposé sur un système de traitement thermique dans lequel une cuvette est ménagée de façon à former un contenant ou un réceptacle pour champs opératoires permettant de recueillir un milieu stérile. Le système de traitement thermique peut soit chauffer soit congeler le milieu stérile. Le dispositif de détection est disposé généralement à travers le champ opératoire de manière à délivrer un signal indiquant la présence de liquide et/ou de fuites à l'intérieur du contenant pour champs opératoires à destination du système de manière à faciliter la régulation du fonctionnement de ce dernier. En outre, le dispositif de détection peut être fixé à un champ opératoire pour cuvettes multiples destinées à un système de traitement thermique à cuvettes multiples. Le champ opératoire forme un réceptacle à l'intérieur de chaque cuvette, alors qu'un dispositif de détection est généralement disposé à l'intérieur de chaque réceptacle du champ opératoire de manière à détecter la présence de liquide et/ou d'une fuite à l'intérieur de ce réceptacle afin de faciliter la régulation du fonctionnement du système d'un manière sensiblement identique à celle décrite ci-dessus.
